I am running odoo 8 community edition and I had an issue with the instance which resulted in data loss.I usually keep weekly backups (database dumps with out filestore) and monthly backups of the database with filestore.

After odoo was reinstalled on a new server, I successfully restored the database without filestore but all attachments were missing. I then copied the filestore from the monthly backup zip file to the new server and most of the attachments were recovered. 

However, some attachments are still missing due to the fact that the database dump is more recent than the filestore. I have gone ahead to re-upload these attachments but I still get the error message :

OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/var/lib/odoo/.local/share/Odoo/filestore/%database_name%/26/26a4513332ee6d3a15b9dc12e67969c81021eb13'

How do I re-upload the missing attachments back to their correct location?
