As you can see on the task form in a projet and in the task form in the field service the fields "Planned Date" does not appear.
What do i need to check or to setup to see the "start date" and the "End date" on these forms..
Here are the projects' s setting?

For existing tasks that arn't planned yet, you can do it from Gantt view.
When you hover a timeslot in this view, click on the "Plan existing" icon (search icon with a + inside), then select your task. The planned dates are filled and become visibles on form view if you want to change them from there.

The Planned Date field(to set the start and the end date) is invisible in the tasks since those dates are not set. The attribute for the field is set like that. There is no configuration to show/hide it.
You have to edit the form view to show the field. You can do it directly or use a custom module to do it.
To edit the form view from Odoo:
Step 1: Enable debug(developer) mode.
Step 2: Search for Views in the homepage or navigate to Settings/Technical/User Interface/Views menu.
Step 3: Search for the view project.task.view.form.inherit.project.enterprise.
Step 4: Remove the attrs="{'invisible': [('planned_date_begin', '=', False), ('planned_date_end', '=', False)]}" from the label and div in the code and save it.
That's it. You can now reload and check the task. The Planned Date will be visible in the tasks.
If you are using a custom module, you can inherit the task form view and remove the attrs.

Hi, can you please review this answer - it only makes the title of the field visible, it doesn't enable you to add the dates from the task. Can you please review and respond?

Actually Planned dates are only visible if you have the value in it. If its False, then it will be invisible.
So if you create a task from where system will adds the start and end planned dates, then you can visible it.
For e.g Like create a task from calendar view, Gantt view. It will give you the default date on which you can create a task. Yes you can remove the invisible attributes as well.

But if I create a project and trasks using sales, it will not have those date set, so there is no way to plan tasks that have been created from sales??

Your advice is working but the strange thing is that at the beginning of the deployment these fields where visible.
This is the weirdest configuration ever, who decided it was a good idea to hide all these fields? I have task where I can't enter a value because its hidden... make it make sense

But this is a stupid decision. Default filter is set by "planned for today or future", but didnt get the opportunity to plan this after the task is created is ridicolous.
