Set height to page div in report

Question

It is possible to set a max height or a height to a page div?
i'm using a module (custom_background in the app store) that sets a pdf as background to the entire page, this pdf i set as background has some decorative elements on the corners, over this background is placed the report generated by the report engine and this one comes with a white background, so when it reaches an specific height it covers the decorative elements, so that it's why i need to limit the height of the 'page' div.

That is a classic, Since the background PDF is fixed, the usual max-height CSS won't reliably constrain the content div.page inside Odoo's reporting engine because it's managing pagination. The most useful solution is often moving the decorative background elements from the background PDF into the QWeb footer/header and giving them a high z-index and position: fixed so they float above the main report content. That way, the main content can safely run beneath them without hitting a white wall.

In Odoo v17 PDFs, the .page div height is controlled by wkhtmltopdf, not normal browser CSS max-height and height do NOT work reliably on .page because wkhtmltopdf auto-expands pages You cannot truly limit .page height, but you can limit the inner content instead The correct solution is to wrap your content inside another div and control that div’s height Apply this inside .page, not on .page itself Use overflow:hidden to prevent content from covering your decorative background Avoid backgro
