I need to add a new dropdown field in Sales Orders so that I can tag each line in the order as, for example, In Progress or Ready For Collection.
Could someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to do this?

In selection option you have give like this
[('small letter','capital letter'),('small letter','capital letter'),...]
eg: [('in progress','In Progress'),('ready for collection','Ready For Collection')]
