Al-Omran Companies Group was established in Baghdad in 1981. Al-Omran Family started trading Foodstuff in general, then at the end of the 90's the tuning pint occurred and they started importing products from abroad. The first company was established under the name of Al-Waseela which was one of the significant Iraqi companies for import and export of foodstuff at that time. Afterward, the business enlarged in this field and several companies, warehouses and office were established, the most prominent of which were Waseelat Al-Omran Company for General Trade and Al-Ehata Company for Grains Trading at the beginnings of 2003. The company started working in the field of building and construction according to the general circumstances of the country and head towards the reconstruction of Iraq, we actually founded dorat Al-Omran Company for General Trade and Contracts in Baghdad in 2008. The other most important fields the company deals with are Real-estates and Hotels. Since that, the company was keen on providing full portfolio of solutions and services of high standards to execute and supplying the significant Projects in Iraq. The company acquired a vast experience in the retail sales to meet the customers'​ needs in different fields. Such experience was obtained through concluding contract agreements with international trading agencies in various field such as Construction, Foods, Office and Home Furniture. The company maintains being in the top of the specialized markets by following dynamic approach that based on three fundamental aspects represented in: (Staff members, Innovation and Development)
