This may be too simple, but I can not find it. How can the customer approve the timesheet of the service hours that will be billed to him (invoice on timesheets).
I am looking to implement the following flow:
quote -> customer approval -> sale order -> populate time sheet -> approve time -> invoice approved time.

When you want the approval from customer, then you have to give the access of timesheet to the portal user.
Obviously, we can create a portal user for a customer. whether you are ready to do a customization on work flow, then you can easily show the timesheet of a certain project of a particular customer on the portal page. Thereby customer can see and give an approval. Then we can trigger to the basic workflow of invoicing the time spent

What I do approval in my Project Tasks is that I create "an activity" as "approve". Then I can "schedule and assign" "approve" to anyone following the project.
