Despite the fact that Odoo is already very complete, we are still looking for solutions for some practical issues.

Below a list with short description:

Customers with licenses.

We sell crop protection products (agro chemicals), many products cannot be sold freely. In order to purchase these products, customers must have a valid (phyto) license. Not that this license have an expiration date.

The system need to check the presence and expiration date of the license and print this info on each on the pick-up document (delivery note or invoice).

(From an abstract point of view, this resembles a customer going to the pharmacy with a doctor's prescription.)

ADR products

ADR applies to many of our products. In many cases we can transport under exemption because the quantities are small.

Based on the entered ADR data (UN number, packing group,...) it can be calculated whether an exemption is possible. If possible, the calculation should be mentioned on the shipping documents.

In case of an exemption, the calculation must be stated on the shipping documents.

The ADR data is coming from an excel which is updated every 2 year.

Safety Data Sheets

Local legislation requires us to have a list of the hazards and risks of the products. This information comes from Safety Data Sheets.

We are looking for an easy way to add Safety Data Sheets, hazards and risks to the articles and make a list from this data.

Electronic shelf label (ESL)

In the future we would like to install electronic price labels.

We are looking for a possibility to send the article name, price and barcode number to the web service (JSON). An API manual is available.

Fertilizer bank

Due to regional regulations, we have to declare fertilizers to the government.

Customer data, product data, info from custom fields and quantities must be registered within 48 hours.

Registration can be done by a web service (JSON), an API manual is available.

Map with points of sale

Customers regularly ask for points of sale in their neighbourhood that sell a specific product.

We are looking for a solution that makes it possible to filter points of sale by product and location and show this on a map.

Does anyone have a solution for the above problems?

Or can someone point us in the right direction?

If there are no standard solutions for this, does anyone know where we can go for customization?
