Working with freelancer

Good Evening,
we are using Odoo.sh and I am wondering what it the best practice to work with freelancer.
We might use some freelancers in the future to help us customize our Odoo system, but I am wondering how does someone manage the security. If I give full access to some freelancer I do not know yet, he has access to all my data, right?
What is the best practice to work with freelancer on the one hand (I assume they need some kind of access to the system?) and managing data security on the oth

odoo.sh has access setings [1] . I think, your freelancers will work with one feature on one branch, so User access on odoo.sh may be ok. Also, your developer will need access to your github/gitlab repository (if we talk about customizations of already active modules).
If we talk about absolutely new module, which will use only base dependencies, it could be external repo, which add to your odoo.sh as submodule.
I preffer work with full access to odoo.sh, but it's ok when you gave your database
