We would like to use the Odoo timesheets, but can't find an important feature:
With the default configuration, users can only add the spent time to their timesheets. Due to legal reasons as well as for the reporting, we need to track the start and end time of the individual entries.
There used to be an OCA module for Odoo versions before 16, but I can't find a solution for Odoo 16. Is this possible without an additional Odoo module?

Are you running Odoo CE or EE? In EE you can use the timer to track the start and endtime of timesheets or rather its tasks.
I have now found the module dev_timesheet_start_end_time (I have not enough karma points to post a link...)
If there is no other option, we will try this. However, I can't imagine that it's really not possible to do this out of the box?
