One of our customer raise an interesting need in Odoo.
What is the best way to track navigation process and requests in Odoo and website ?
The final goal : profile each user and build marketing campaign or make one2one message with Odoo.
The customer need seems born of http://www.exacttarget.com

Hello, in v13, you have tracking out of the box with Odoo's IAP service, you can generate leads from visitors, also there is new feature called Website Views on Which you can see how your user interacted with the website.
to see how it works go to : Website > Visitors > Visitors or Website > Visitors > Views the good thing about using this core feature is that no privacy tool will block your user tracking since it is embedded in the server.
In older versions you can use tools like HotJar and Google Tag Manager I also found an app that provides a template for Google Tag Manager here https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/13.0/google_tag_manager_app/

I would also be interested in finding out how to do this - so that marketing campaigns can respond to customer behaviour - eg you email customer with a link to a blog post and then want to alter marketing campaign behaviour depending on whether the customer visited the blog page you linked to (i.e. they clicked your link). I don't think google analytics will help you in this situation as it anonymises the visit information does it not ?
