Difference between "can be sold" and "can be purchased" in products

Hi,
I don't quite understand the difference between the two fields "can be sold" and "can be purchased" in products.
Can anyone clarify to what they correspond ?

"*Can be sold*": If it is checked, you will be able to select the product in the Sales Order Lines
"*Can be purchased*": If it is checked, you will be able to select the product in the Purchase Order Lines

Hello @openLinus,
If Can be sold Boolean Tick then that product will be avaiable for Sale that is in sale order.
If can be purchased boolean tick then that product will be avaiable for purchase that is in purchase order.
