Hello odooers.
I have been working with odoo as a developer making customizations and new modules but when tasked with dealing with access rights and rules that already exists within odoo i feel like i have hit a wall.
Is there a guidline on how to deal with odoo access rights and rules and groups without breaking the standard odoo flow? especially when tasked with very specific customizations to access rights and groups?

Hello,
If you’re struggling with access rights, record rules, and groups without breaking the standard flow, this blog gives a clear overview and good guidance:
https://www.cybrosys.com/blog/overview-of-access-control-lists-acls-in-odoo-19
https://www.cybrosys.com/blog/how-to-create-record-rules-in-odoo-19
It explains ACLs, record rules, and best practices for handling them properly.
Hope it helps
