We have  pass / fail quality check points as instructions on operations on our BOMs. We also use dynamically created Product Variants

We use the same operation on all our BOMs so when we need to create a new BOM we use the "Copy Existing Operations" link. We find the Operation to copy from any of our other BOMs and copy it.

What we find is, when we copy the operation the QCP populates with all existing variants for that product. 

The problem comes when we configure a new variant, it is not added to the list of products on the QCP. This means when we have an MO for that variant and we get to the work order that we would expect to have the QCP on it, it is not there.  

What is the solution to this?
