Agree with Sandeep — standard pricelist “Round off to” runs on the tax-excluded amount when prices are managed excl. VAT, so you can’t get “always .99 incl. VAT” from the UI alone.

If you need gross rounding without Studio, it has to be custom logic, roughly:

1. Compute the price the customer should see incl. VAT (from your rule / base price).
2. Round that gross amount the way you want (.99, whole euro, etc.).
3. Back-calculate the tax-excluded unit price: net = gross / (1 + tax_rate) — watch fixed/percent taxes and fiscal positions if rates change per partner or product.
4. Store/use that net on the line so Odoo’s normal tax engine still runs consistently.

Where to hook it depends on scope:

• Sales orders: override or extend how the line unit price is computed from the pricelist (after pricelist rules, before or inside tax computation — be careful not to fight _compute_price_unit / pricelist application twice).
• POS: separate path — POS has its own price/tax flow, so don’t assume SO logic carries over.
• Website: if eCommerce uses pricelist, same issue — shop may show excl. or incl. per config; rounding intent should match what the customer sees.

Edge cases to plan for:

• Multiple taxes on one product
• B2B partners with different fiscal positions
• Discounts / formula rules applied before vs after rounding (define order of operations in writing)
• Rounding per line vs per order total (Belgium/retail often cares about display price incl. VAT per unit)

So: not supported standard, Studio won’t fix the math, small custom module or inherited model method is the realistic route.

If you share Odoo version (14/15/16+) and whether this is SO, POS, or website, someone can point to the exact method to inherit — the pattern is the same, the hook differs.

No, this is not supported by Odoo's standard Pricelist configuration.

The "Round off to" option in Pricelist Rules is applied to the computed price before taxes are added. When your company is configured to manage prices tax excluded, the rounding logic operates on the tax-excluded amount and does not take the VAT-inclusive price into account.

For example:

• Base price: 99.17

• VAT: 21%

• Price with VAT: 120.00

If you apply a round-off rule, Odoo rounds the 99.17 amount first, then computes VAT on the rounded result. It does not round the final VAT-inclusive price.

To round the VAT-inclusive price (e.g., always ending with .99 including VAT), you would need a customization that:

1. Calculates the tax-inclusive price.

2. Applies the desired rounding.

3. Recalculates the tax-excluded price accordingly.

This cannot be achieved through standard Pricelist Rules alone, and Studio would not be sufficient for this type of pricing logic either. A custom module would be required.
