I’m working with Odoo 19 and I have a question regarding the DNA (Non-Deductible Expenses) report and the liquidation reserve.

In Belgium, the liquidation reserve tax is economically related to the profit of year N, but it is due and payable in year N+1.

From an accounting and tax perspective, the expense should therefore be reflected in 2026, not in 2025.

However, in Odoo, I notice that:

• The liquidation reserve expense related to 2025 is already shown in the 2025 DNA report

• Even though the tax is only payable (and normally accounted) in 2026

My questions are:

1. Is this behavior standard in Odoo?

2. What is the logic behind displaying the liquidation reserve expense in year N instead of N+1 in the DNA report?

3. Is there a configuration or standard setting to shift this expense so that it appears in the DNA report of 2026 instead of 2025?

4. If not, is the only solution a customization or manual adjustment?

Any explanation or best practice would be greatly appreciated.
