Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Luxembourg with offices in Vilnius, Krakow, Belgrade, Nicosia, Tbilisi, Tashkent, Manila, Seoul, and Tokyo, Gcore has 140+ points of presence, including 20+ unique cloud locations, and 40+ data centers with servers available for use around the world. They also deliver customer services ranging from IT infrastructure management and support to software development.
For many years they had been using SAP to automate key business functions of the organization, but they weren’t quite satisfied with the functionality of this solution, not speaking about the costs associated with it. Gcore turned to Itransition, their long-term technology vendor and partner, and we, after having analyzed their business processes, recommended Odoo.
For Gcore, Itransition implemented an Odoo-based ERP system that currently supports the following functional blocks:
- Accounting
- Equipment Maintenance
- Procurement
- Inventory
- Purchasing
- Sales Specification
- Processing User Management
We also integrated the solution with payment systems (Adyen and PayPal payments), Gcore’s proprietary billing and hosting platforms, a project management system (Jira), a data visualization tool (Power BI) a network modelling solution (NetBox), and a messenger (Slack). We also developed integration with SAP to ensure data migration and synchronization unless the legacy SAP system is fully retired.
