About the Job
Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) – Brisbane, CA
As a Key Account Manager, you will partner with large, strategic customers to understand their business needs, guide complex purchasing decisions, and drive long-term growth. You will act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, delivering tailored Odoo solutions, managing complex sales cycles, and ensuring successful collaboration between customers, internal teams, and implementation partners. This role combines strategic account management, consultative selling, and regular on-site customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Understand customers' business objectives, challenges, organizational constraints, decision-making processes, and regulatory requirements through discovery and strategic account engagement.
- Develop and present tailored Odoo solutions through workshops, software demonstrations, and strategic advisory discussions, collaborating with Services teams and implementation partners to ensure feasibility and alignment.
- Lead and coordinate RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses, working with internal experts to deliver compelling and accurate proposals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, positioning Odoo's value and supporting strategic decisions related to digital transformation, governance, and compliance.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including commercial strategy, pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and coordination with legal, security, and compliance stakeholders.
- Own a portfolio of strategic accounts, building strong stakeholder relationships through regular engagement and on-site visits, ensuring successful delivery, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth opportunities.
Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Passion for software products
- 1-2 years of experience in sales
- Able to work in a rapidly evolving field
- Excellent communication skills
Nice to Have
- Proven experience in complex deal
- Experience working on complex ERP or digital transformation projects
- Knowledge of Odoo
