Multiple Quantity of Reordering Rule

Question

Dear Odoo Experts,
Can i know how it is work Multiple Quantity of Reordering Rule in Odoo Version 15?
If possible ,let me know with example for details.
On Hand Qty =14
Min Qty=20
Max Qty=50
Multiple Qty =8
When run Run Scheduler,RFQ is auto generated by Qty 40.Actually, I know Qty 36 for RFQ.Why it is exceed more than Max Qty?

Multiples of 8 is in play here. 32 is less than max qty so the order qty is 40 to fullfil the need of 36

Multiple Quantity can be defined as the lowest quantity that should be purchased from a vendor. This means the quantity we mention in the purchase order will always be the multiple of the multiple quantity.
