In Odoo, the "Delivery Quantity" on a sales order line shows how much of a product has actually been shipped to the customer, which is important for invoicing if you bill based on what's delivered rather than what was ordered. The "Lock" icon on a quotation or sales order means the document is finalized and can no longer be edited, preventing accidental changes once the order is confirmed, especially if the "Lock Confirmed Sales" setting is active.

What does the Delivery Quantity field indicate in a Sales Order line? 

The Delivery Quantity field shows how many units of that product have been delivered to the customer from that specific sales order line. 

If nothing is delivered yet, it shows 0. 

After you validate a delivery order, it updates to the actual delivered quantity. 

If you partially deliver an order, it reflects the partially delivered amount. 

This field helps track the delivery progress for each product line. 

What does the Lock icon indicate on a Quotation or Sales Order? 

Odoo uses the lock icon to show whether the document is editable. 

Quotation (Draft stage) 

When a quotation is in draft, it is editable. 

The lock icon appears open, meaning the quotation can be modified. 

Sales Order (Confirmed) 

Once you confirm a quotation and turn it into a Sales Order, and locks it. 

The lock icon becomes closed, showing that the record is no longer editable except for certain allowed fields like adding notes or changing delivery dates depending on settings.
