Hello everyone,


I have a problem with wkhtmltopdf in my odoo. Before the pdf files worked normally all the style are loaded in the pdf file. But in the early august the css is not loaded anymore. I already change the parameters report.url and web.base.url into myip:myport. I have downgraded my wkhtmltopdf into 0.12.5 (with patched qt). But the file is still not loaded the style. And when I check the log.

it said ContentNotFoundError and there are 2 files css are not found (404). Below is my log file content.

I use ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS and Odoo 17.0+e (Enterprise Edition)

Hi,

The error appears because wkhtmltopdf cannot access Odoo’s CSS files; both web.report_assets_pdf.min.css and web.report_assets_common.min.css return 404.

This usually happens when report.url or web.base.url is wrong; set both to the real reachable URL of your Odoo (including port) and restart the server.

If you are behind a proxy or container network, wkhtmltopdf may not reach Odoo internally; in that case, set report.url to the internal IP that wkhtmltopdf can access.

Clear and rebuild assets using: ./odoo-bin -d dbname -u web or enable developer mode → “Clear Assets”.

Ensure you are using the patched wkhtmltopdf 0.12.5 version and that it has permission to reach URLs (no firewall or DNS block).

If assets are corrupted or missing, delete the addons/web/static/*/assets folders from .local/share/Odoo and restart so Odoo regenerates them.
