Looks likes inventory moves are posted first, then stock valution and then the financial journal entry.
Which would be logic: The inventory posting adjust Remaining qty of of the valuation layer, and the valuation layer calculates the value used for the financial posting.

When we perform 'Mark as Done' in the manufacturing order, it first creates the stock valuation layer, and then it creates the stock journal entry if automatic valuation is enabled for the corresponding product category.
