I have a special location for English products in my Warehouse. How do i store them into this location? I built out a new location in my system called Warehouse-EN.
I created lot numbers for my products.
I dont know what to do. All I want is that the products and their lot numbers are in this location. This inventory by date option offers zero solution.
I tried making a route to route the products into there. But it doesnt do anything.
Assuming you have the products in stock already, you can create internal transfers where you move the lots from one location to another. Make sure you have activated the 'Storage Locations' in the warehouse settings.
Select the current locations where the products are, the target location (in your case Warehouse-EN/Stock), and the product together with the lot/serial.
If they are not in stock yet, you can create an inventory adjustment.
Select the location (in your case Warehouse-EN/Stock), the product together with the lot/serial and click apply.

You can set a put away rule.
Based on product or a product category you can define a putaways rule.
So we can set a rule like when the products arrives in stock, if it belongs to a particular category or product , we can move this to a specific location.
