Hi, I want to change the basic chatter email template where is used when someone sends a simple chatter mail to the followers. When I send an email there is only the text in the mail.

Is there a way to add a template or to change the default mail chatter template in the mail module?

Hi, 

 I think there is no any template for chatter default message, but you can open wizard and beautify text using HTML blocks.

ok thank you, so there is no other way to build a template in the js method that sends the plaintext chatter message to the followers emails?

Hello,

Yes there is a customise module available for chatter template.

To change/edit default email templates ,

  • Activate Developer Mode

  • Settings > Technical > Email > Templates.

for the chatter mails there is no template like this.
