Dear All,


We want to increase the Retail Supermarket Business Sales during the end of every month when the business will be normally dull.  We want to run a promotion during the month ends only.  Using this promotion, system should indicate in the POS for every 100th bill that it is a free bill.  The counter should start from the date when this promotion is started.


Now cashiers can given this bill for free with 100% discount.  Once the promotion date is expired this promotion should get automatically stopped.

How to do this in Odoo?

Is this configuration available in Odoo 17 Community edition?

How to set Frequency Every 100 orders?.

Is the Frequency works on POS Terminal wise or Company wise?

Bill number only generate after the payment than How to identify its 100th bill and apply promotion?


We are using 10 POS terminals in a store and try to enable this promotion on Every 100 POS bill across all terminals.

We can't able to set the frequency (every 100th order) on Promotion screen. Tried all type of promotions but we can't able to define the rule. Please share any screenshots.

Yes, implementing this promotion in Odoo 17 Community Edition is possible. Here’s how to proceed:


1. Ensure the required Modules: First, confirm that the `pos_sale_loyalty` module is installed in your system. Also, check that the Loyalty Program feature is enabled in your settings.


2. Set Up the Promotion:

   - Go to POS / Products / Discount & Loyalty and create a new rule within the Loyalty Program under "Fidelity Card" (using the Buy X Get Y configuration).

   - Define the necessary rules, including the frequency (every 100 orders), and set the active period for the promotion.


3. Promotion Activation:

   - When configured, the system will recognize every 100th eligible purchase and apply the discount automatically. Once the promotion period expires, it will deactivate automatically.


4. POS Terminal Settings: The promotion applies at the customer level rather than being limited to individual POS terminals. Therefore, regardless of the number of terminals, the rule will trigger after every 100th order across all POS terminals.
