I worked on a purchase order request (RFQ) for a supplier on July 1st and on July 2nd when I logged back into the system, it was gone.  I know I didnt imagine it because I even wrote an email to the programmer about that rfq, telling him how it was actually a duplicate of an older one because originally I had created it with Tax and it shouldnt include tax because its FOB prices.

The original order was PO0006 and the newest was PO00161.  I have gone and checked all status POs both in PO requests(RFQ) and in Purchase Orders.  There is no record of either.  I can see all the later ones including another one I made, PO00164.  But 161 and 06 are gone.

Is there any way to look for them in the db?  If someone did erase them by clicking on the erase button, shouldnt those actually still be in the db somewhere marked as inactive or invisible or something?

Im worried because this means the system is buggy and if documents can disappear on a whim like that, its worrisome.
