Do Stock valuation differ from the general ledger than that from inventory reporting ? as when I looked it from inventory and then opened general ledger I found slight difference between them

maybe some products while configuring it make the inventory valuation manual not automated in case of that it needs to make the updated manually from inventory report
please check and let me know if you need help
from where I can check this and edit it ?
from inventory valuation report , you will find a button inventory at date press it will update the inventory account
