I have a scenario where I need to create boms that consume 1.5m of rope or 1.7.

Is using 150cm and 170cm the only way?

The issue here is that I would like to display float values of m everywhere (interface, reports) instead of cm for cases like 10.5m > 1050cm which can be hard to read

Is there a simpler way instead of creating the boms in cm and rewriting the entire display system to show in m?
