Sufaraa AL-Hedaya

Sufaraa Al Hedaya Founded in Cairo in 2008 and officially recognized by Egypt's Ministry of Social Solidarity, it is a non-profit organization that partners with the world-renowned Al-Azhar University to empower international Islamic students from across the globe. We provide a fully integrated support system — including safe housing, three daily meals, healthcare, Arabic language training, Quran memorization and certification, academic tutoring, financial grants, and leadership development — so that talented students can focus entirely on their studies and personal growth. Operating across multiple residential facilities in Cairo and Tanta, we currently serve over 260 students and dozens of international families and have impacted more than 4 million beneficiaries since our founding. Our mission is simple but powerful: to transform dedicated young scholars into confident, knowledgeable ambassadors of their faith — equipping them to return to their communities as the scholars, preachers, and leaders their nations need.
