We will be using UPS or another 3rd party integration to generate shipping costs. We only want these costs to generate on the delivery order. We don't want to look at anything regarding the sales order to generate the cost - only the delivery order. Is this possible with native Odoo solutions or will it require customization?

Thank you for the response. We actually don't need it to show on the invoice, it won't be a charge to the customer.
Hi Ciera,
by default, the delivery order is not valued, so even if you add the shipping at the level of the delivery order it has no financial impact and will not be added to the invoice because the invoice is generated on the basis of the sale order.
