Hello, 

I like to show the planned vs actual cost comparison in odoo. Here i am giving some Scenario.

Scenario 1: 

I will manufacture a product with BoM. Here i can compare the planned cost in BoM overview and the actual cost in Manufacturing Order overview.

Scenario 2:

I will Manufacture a product Without BoM. I will create a sale order which will automatically creates a manufacturing order. 

On that I will select the components. once, the manufacturing order is confirmed, I realized that the selected component was not available in my stock.

Hence, I will produce the FG with Available Alternative component. which cost higher than what i picked before. 

So, Here I will Update the MO with what I picked as a new Component and I will give produce all.

Here, I like to Show the Planned Vs Actual Cost of the FG.
