What are the required and recomended versions of PostgreSQL and Python to run Odoo 8?
In documentation I found, that Python 2.6 or later required for OpenERP 6.1 and PostgreSQL (does not say about version).
Nothing about OpenERP 7 or Odoo 8...

I do not know of any official specifications, but I can tell you that we have succesfully runned Odoo on postgres versions 9.0 --> 9.3.
Python needs to be a form of 2.7. 2.6 Will not be sufficient since Odoo now uses some features/syntax that is only available in Python 2.7.
