Hi,

I've created a number of additional fields on Product Template and created the associated inherited view to display them. The data in these fields gets stored fine on the Product Template. Now I want to use the attributes on the variants tab to create my product variants (i.e. one attribute with 3 values)

When doing so, the variants get created, but the field values, which I have stored in my new fields on the product template do not get replicated to the product variant (On the variant I can see the tab and the textboxes for the values, but they don't get populated with the values from the template but instead are their default values NULL, 0 etc.).

From this forum entry it seems I am on the right track...but can't work it out...hmmm...

Did I miss a step in setting up the fields or is this a bug?
