Lougher Contemporary

Lougher Contemporary is a UK-based online art dealership specialising in contemporary prints, editions and multiples. The business works with private collectors and trade buyers, managing a mix of owned stock, consignments and brokered sales.

Lougher currently relies on a combination of spreadsheets, ArtLogic, Shopify, Xero and manual processes to manage its stock, sales, client relationships and reporting. Cloudsaber is implementing Odoo as a central platform to bring these workflows together and provide a more scalable foundation for future growth.

Challenges Faced

Odoo Implementation

Lougher is transitioning to Odoo to centralise key business workflows and reduce reliance on disconnected tools.

The project aims to:

  • Create a single operational platform for CRM, sales, stock, consignments and reporting.

  • Replace manual spreadsheet-led processes with structured workflows in Odoo.

  • Improve visibility across artwork availability, sales activity, client relationships and post-sales operations.

  • Support the specific needs of the art dealership sector through a tailored Odoo module.

  • Retain key existing systems, including Shopify and Xero, during the first phase while creating a path for future consolidation.

  • Provide a scalable system that supports the business as it grows.
