Carter’s growth was limited by their incumbent systems, lack of integration potential, and administration-heavy processes. Sixo Sytems became involved prior to the decision to proceed with Odoo as their new ERP system. We provided a dedicated and impartial Business Analysis service to review existing processes and identify areas of inefficiency and where improvements could be made, followed by a critical evaluation of multiple ERP systems. The result was clear; Odoo was the best solution on the market for their requirements.

A full ERP implementation across the whole company began, bringing together UK, US and European operations using the multi-company and multi-currency capabilities of Odoo. Carter can now get instant visibility of the status of quotations, orders, manufacturing, distribution, purchasing, and finance, across the entire group of companies with the click of a button.

As one of the larger implementations possible with Odoo, the project was broken down into logical phases, with limited business functions “going live” when convenient for them. Sixo Sytems are continuing to work with Carter to implement and configure more of Odoo’s apps to maximise the benefits of the ERP system.

ISO and AS9100 compliance were an integral part of this implementation, and using a combination of customisations using Odoo Studio, and bespoke software development, we are able to achieve a compliant and efficient system that offers full traceability of components used during the manufacturing process.
