Good day, all, 

I have spent the better part of the day trying to figure out the right way to set up this commission plan.  Originally I was working in the sales module but it does not allow a plan based on a 'pricelist'.  I was then directed to use the CRM module.  I have followed the instructions noted in the the following post.  I can see the 'Referrer Commission' section on the quotes, but it is not calculating.  I have also listed some steps I have taken so that I, hopefully, don't waste anyone's time.

Steps taken so far.

• In sales, created a price list with formula to calculate commissions (sale price - installation cost)
• In sales, the price list is applied to all eligible products, under prices.
• In CRM, created a commissions plan, one line for each category, added the price list to the 'price list' field, entered the rate. All other fields left blank.
• In CRM, created a 'Salesperson' Level and added the default commission plan and pricelist
• In contacts, added 'partner level; Salesperson', commission plan and activation level is 'fully operational'

I'm sure there must be something I am missing, I just don't know what that might be!
