National Medical Products Co. Ltd. - DAMAD
KORYX delivered one of its most technically comprehensive Odoo 18 implementations for DAMAD, a large-scale pharmaceutical and medical products manufacturer operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the regulatory oversight of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) and subject to ZATCA e-invoicing mandates. The scope of this project covered the full breadth of manufacturing, procurement, HR, finance, and commercial operations across a high-compliance production environment.
Manufacturing operations are managed through structured Bills of Materials (BOMs), Work Centers, and Operations, enabling DAMAD's production team to plan and execute production orders across its product range, covering surgical dressings, medical care products, and pharmaceutical formulations, with full traceability from raw material to finished goods. The Quality App is integrated at critical production stages to enforce inspection, testing, and non-conformance management in line with SFDA and GMP standards, ensuring that no batch reaches the warehouse or customer without passing defined quality controls.
Procurement is managed through a multi-stage workflow, beginning with Purchase Requests and Tender Management, which is essential for a manufacturer that sources raw materials, packaging, and consumables through competitive tender processes. The Vendor Advances and Bank Guarantee modules support the financial controls required for large procurement contracts, while the Contract Management module handles supplier agreements and terms. Sample Issuance tracks outgoing product samples for regulatory, client, and research purposes and maintains a documented audit trail.
On the HR side, a fully customized Saudi HR system was implemented in compliance with local labor law, covering Contract Employees, End-of-Service (EOS) calculations, employee advances and loans, and GOSI-aligned payroll processing. The Time Off, Attendance, and Planning modules manage workforce scheduling and leave entitlements across the factory floor and administrative teams.
Financial management is configured in line with Saudi regulatory requirements, with ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoicing compliance integrated directly into the accounting module, ensuring that all sales invoices are generated, signed, and reported to ZATCA's Fatoorah platform in the prescribed format. Budget Management provides cost control across departments and production cost centers, while the Dashboard App gives senior management a real-time view of KPIs across operations, finance, and sales.
Sales and commercial operations span both domestic distribution and international markets, with Odoo's Sales, Quotations, Online Sales, and Inventory Management modules handling the order-to-delivery cycle for a customer base spanning thousands of hospitals and healthcare facilities across the Middle East.
