I've been trying to figure out how to import the initial inventory using a spreadsheet in Odoo 15. I've been able to import the inventory for products with a single variant but when there are multiple, it gives the error ( Quant's editing is restricted, you can't do this operation ). The spreadsheet has 4 headers (Product, External ID, Counted Quantity, and Location). Does anyone know why products with multiples wouldn't be working?

Never mind, I was able to fix it. I removed "Product" and "External ID" and then added "Product / External ID". I didn't realize I was using the wrong external id header.

Thanks a lot for your query and response. We have multiple warehouses, and this was a major headache. Solved now because of your input.
