• Exchange Rates & Accounting:
  Odoo handles exchange rates at the accounting level, not directly in payroll. When payslips are posted, amounts are converted into the company currency using the active exchange rate. Any differences are managed via standard currency gain/loss accounts.

Best Practice:

Use separate salary structures + ensure multi-currency is properly configured in Accounting. For more advanced scenarios (like real-time conversion or reporting in multiple currencies), a customization may be required.
