How can we see Skills for all Users when assigning Tasks (Multi-Company Environment)?

Question

We have multiple companies in different countries with Employees in each and we often ask Employees in other countries to work on Projects.
In this sense, our Projects are "globally resourced" even though they are sold through one Company.
Example: A project sold in the US may have Employees in Europe work on it.

We have noticed that when working in Odoo in a multi-company environment we can see all skills for all Employees (when we activate multiple companies at once) but we cannot see all ski

You can create a custom field that shows all skills rather than the skills from just the active Company:

record['x_all_employee_skill_ids'] = record.employee_ids.mapped('employee_skill_ids')
Adding this field to the Users view gives you this:

1) Standard Odoo field for User Skills (only the current Company)
2) Custom Odoo field for User Skills (all active Companies)
