eMPF Reports

Odoo generates compliant electronic files ready for direct upload to the eMPF Platform, offering full native support for all 24 MPF schemes.

It’s as easy as one, two, three:

  1. Activate: Install the "Hong Kong - Payroll" localization package onto your Odoo database to automatically update your system with local regulations.
  2. Configure: Define your team's wage details, dates, and chosen MPF contribution rules in the centralized Odoo Employees app.
  3. Export: At the end of each month, download your monthly eMPF Contributions report on the Payroll app, voila!

HSBC Batch Payment Reports

After computing each month’s pay run, users can then generate HSBCnet files for batch payment transfer. It’s done in just one click. 

The best thing yet? All salary payments can be merged into a single line of accounting entry on the integrated Odoo Accounting module for anonymized payroll accounting.

Tax Reports

The localized Payroll module on Odoo 19 and 19.2 database onwards also supports the generation of statutory IR56 tax reports, including:

  • IR56B: Annual return of remuneration and pensions for all employees.
  • IR56E/F: Notification of Commencement or Cessation of employment.
  • IR56G: Notification for employees leaving Hong Kong permanently.

These statutory forms are automatically compiled into the standardized XML format, enabling a seamless, direct upload to the IRD e-Filing portal. By consolidating complex local tax compliance within a single, unified Payroll module, Odoo eliminates manual calculations and drastically simplifies your financial year-end processes.
