Grupo PAS is an insurance broker organizer that acts as an intermediary between insurance companies and insurance producers. How Grupo PAS Managed Producers and Clients Before Odoo?

Before implementing Odoo, Grupo PAS’s operations relied on basic tools and manual processes. Client and producer management (a critical aspect of the business) was primarily handled through Excel spreadsheets, Google Drive documents, and email.

As the company grew, this approach began to create friction. Information was fragmented, often dependent on individual knowledge, and difficult to scale. The lack of a centralized tool also affected internal communication, forcing teams to constantly consult one another to access key information.

An Integrated Operation with Odoo 

The Odoo approach began in 2023, when the company was evaluating a CRM implementation. The internal development team identified the potential of an open-source solution that could be adapted to their specific needs. After attending an event and exploring the tool in depth, Grupo PAS decided to move forward with the implementation, led internally.

How does Grupo PAS use Odoo in its daily operations?



 
One of the main advances was the adoption of centralized contact management via CRM. Today, all information about producers and clients is available in one place, including history, commercial notes, and specific requirements. This allows for more precise and structured follow-up.

 In the marketing area, they use email marketing integrated with Odoo, connected to their mailing systems. This facilitates campaign execution and communication management with producers from a single platform, improving consistency and traceability of actions.

 Another key point is automated lead management with Odoo. Through forms linked to their website (Polko), each new contact automatically generates a record in a customized module. From there, the sales team manages the process through kanban-style boards. This workflow reflects common needs such as “CRM integrated with forms and lead management in Odoo.”

 Grupo PAS has also developed multiple custom modules on top of Odoo, leveraging its flexibility. These include protocols, occupational risk insurance (ART), code tracking, and internal tools adapted to their operations. This enables them to build a system aligned with their service-based business model, where processes are not linear as in traditional manufacturing.

In  human resources, they use applications such as Attendance and Time Off in Odoo to facilitate internal team management.

One of the greatest benefits has been improved coordination between teams. Shared information reduces reliance on internal inquiries and enables each department to access the data it needs directly.

Additionally, the time impact is tangible: tasks that previously required multiple interactions are now resolved directly in the system, freeing up between one and two hours per day per resource in key areas such as sales and production.

From a business perspective, Grupo PAS is strongly committed to its Polko system and plans sustained expansion in Argentina, incorporating more producers and insurance companies. They will also continue evolving the platform, focusing on improving the user experience.
