About the job
As a Customer Success Manager, you will represent the long lasting commercial point of contact of all your customers. You will ensure customer satisfaction as well as the development of their businesses by offering new features and renewing their Odoo contracts. You will be in contact with financial directors, IT directors and CEOs of small and large companies, and you will revolutionize the way they work
The business scope of Odoo is so large that you'll never stop learning, and with a bit of creativity, you'll have a solution to most of your clients' pain points. With such a scope, you'll quickly master all aspects of entrepreneurship, to advise clients as an expert. It's not all about sales, it's also about providing value to your clients
This position requires a proactive individual with a result-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients in Africa
- Analyze and understand your clients' IT projects in depth: you will be their Odoo sales expert!
- Identify potential future sales: Increase the use of your customers' software by offering them the best package available for Odoo
- Present the new product (new applications, features and versions) to end users
- Negotiate contract renewals: from monthly subscriptions to multi-year subscriptions
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Business
- Strong Business knowledge and curiosity
- Genuine interest in software products
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong relationship and negotiation skills
We work with our customers in two ways...
For the implementation of Odoo, customers may choose to work directly with Odoo or engage an Odoo Partner
In both scenarios, Odoo remains actively involved and maintains direct contact with the customer throughout the process
Direct Service 🔑
- Odoo manages both the commercial relationship and the implementation
- Best fit when client needs are standard and fully covered by Odoo
- Everything handled directly by Odoo teams
- The Odoo Account Manager manages the client relationship and the commercial aspect
- The Odoo Project Manager manages the implementation and training of Odoo for the client
Indirect Service 🤝
- Used when client needs go beyond Odoo’s internal scope, such as: Custom integrations & Specific localisation (e.g. accounting, payroll) not yet supported by Odoo
- Odoo Partner manages implementation and consultancy
- Odoo manages the commercial relationship with the customers, and the Partner is responsible for the implementation
- Partners offers local project management, as well as custom development when needed
