This won't have any effect on the SH instance. You're just transferring rights for the repository from one person (or company) to another. As Odoo.sh itself also has access to your repository they keep the exact same rights. I've did two of these moves in the past and they went fine without any issues.

It is never a bad idea to take an extra backup to be absolutely sure though. It takes a few minutes and you should always take a backup if you do such operations.
