Stiftung für das sorbische Volk

Die Stiftung für das sorbische Volk wurde 1991 gegründet und übernimmt die staatliche Aufgabe, sorbische Einrichtungen und Projekte zur Förderung und Pflege der sorbischen Sprache und Kultur zu unterstützen. Der Hauptsitz der Stiftung befindet sich im Haus der Sorben in Bautzen und betriebt dort die Sorbischen Kulturinformationen, die über Geschichte, Sprache und Kultur der Sorben in der Lausitz informieren.

The Foundation for the Sorbian People was founded in 1991 and takes on the state task of supporting Sorbian institutions and projects to promote and maintain the Sorbian language and culture. The foundation's headquarters are located in the House of the Sorbs in Bautzen, where it runs the Sorbian Cultural Information Center, which provides information about the history, language and culture of the Sorbs in Lusatia.
