Established in 1984, PALMET Group of Companies is one of the first investors in the Turkish energy sector. PALMET, which directs the energy sector; It supplies natural gas to the cities of Gebze, Kocaeli and Erzurum with the companies PALGAZ, İZGAZ and PALEN. It continues its activities in the fields of natural gas distribution, natural gas trade, electricity generation and electricity trade in Gebze, Kocaeli and Erzurum cities.

Serving more than 900 thousand subscribers in 2 provinces and 26 districts, Palmet Energy meets approximately 12 percent of the annual natural gas consumption in Turkey with an annual natural gas trade volume of 6 billion cubic meters.

It has a total installed capacity of 892 MW with the 770 MW Baymina Natural Gas Cycle Power Plant, the 60 MW Delta Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant, and the 62 MW Ales Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant. On the other hand, it has reached the construction phase of the 283 MW Eriç Dam and HEPP Project to be built in Erzincan.

PALMET ENERJİ started natural gas wholesale and trade activities in 2009 with the Gazport company. PALMET is also affiliated with Palport Elektrik Tic. Inc. and has been playing an active role in the wholesale and retail electricity trade market since 2013.

Palmet Engineering, on the other hand, undertakes engineering and contracting works in all investments of the group. In addition, it continues its activities worldwide in the design, implementation and operation of Telecom, IT and energy infrastructures in its field of expertise.
