Kuwait Energy is an oil and gas company actively engaged in the exploration, appraisal, development and production of hydrocarbons. Since establishment in 2005, it has built a high-quality, diversified portfolio of oil and gas assets in the MENA region across Iraq, Egypt and Yemen. Our MENA portfolio consists of 7 exploration, development and production assets, of which we operate six.

Kuwait Energy is a subsidiary of United Energy Group (UEG). UEG is a leading independent Exploration and Production (“E&P”) company which is listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. (Stock Code: 0467)

UEG focuses mainly on the upstream oil and gas exploration and production business.

UEG’s headquarters are located in Hong Kong with subsidiaries in China and Pakistan. The Beijing office acts as the technical and operational headquarters, while the Karachi Office is the headquarters of United Energy Pakistan Limited (“UEP”), the Pakistan subsidiary of the Company. Over the last few years, UEG has grown rapidly and in 2017 annual production was more than 4 million tons which makes it the 4th largest E&P Company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
