BioMassters Ltd., founded in Rwanda in 2020, produces pellet fuel from biomass waste and provides efficient, gasification pellet stoves, creating a sustainable and affordable cooking solution. Focused on clean energy, BioMassters contributes to the circular economy, reduces emissions, and offers a cost-effective cooking alternative for urban households in Rwanda.

Since 2009, the CAA has been UTZ Certified and Rainforest Alliance Certified. It has a strong member base of over 8,400 smallholder farmers and exports cocoa around the world.

Distributed Power Africa operates in Kenya, South Africa, and Zimbabwe, serving commercial and industrial customers with solar and storage systems provided at no upfront cost. The company finances, installs, owns, and manages the infrastructure, enabling clients to transition to clean, reliable energy while lowering emissions and achieving predictable costs. One of its flagship projects powers East Africa Data Centre with over 60 percent renewable energy.

eBee is a pan-African e-mobility company founded in 2021 in Kenya and now operational in Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda. It manufactures, sells, and rents electric bicycles and also runs a last-mile delivery fleet, with a strong focus on creating green jobs for youth and women. The company currently has more than 1,124 e-bikes on the road, has created around 381 jobs with nearly 40 percent of mechanics being women, and its fleet has covered close to 3 million kilometres. To date, eBee has saved approximately 412,000 kilograms of CO₂ emissions through its operations.

T3 Africa is establishing Kenya’s first vertically integrated Recycled PET (rPET) textile plant in Athi River, transforming post-consumer plastic waste from across East Africa into high-quality yarn and textiles. This initiative addresses environmental issues and unemployment by creating jobs in the recycling and textile sectors, producing sustainable materials from 100% post-consumer plastic bottles.

Vanilla Vida is an agritech company founded in 2020 that grows, cures, and sells premium vanilla beans using climate-controlled greenhouses and data-driven curing technology. Headquartered in Yesod HaMa'ala, Israel, the company has raised approximately $18 million in funding and achieved the world's first large-scale indoor vanilla harvest in late 2024: delivering 250 times the yield per square metre compared to traditional farming, with three to four times higher vanillin content. Sales have tripled year-on-year since 2022, with products sold at a premium to leading flavour and fragrance houses.

Vanilla Vida's Israel operation serves as the R&D centre and houses a small-scale curing facility with six growing rooms and 180 experimental plots. Approximately 15 people work from this site, which is already on Odoo under a separate implementation partner (Bizzup). The Uganda entity, the primary focus of this project, is a new 10-hectare production site combining a vanilla curing facility and commercial greenhouse farming. The curing facility will launch in the second half of 2026 using a hybrid model: processing green beans sourced from local Ugandan farmers while Vanilla Vida's own greenhouse planting (starting April 2026) matures toward a first harvest around 2029. Initial procurement targets are 10 tonnes of green beans in summer 2026, scaling to 50 tonnes by 2027. A future Netherlands entity for European sales is out of scope for this project.
