We have cases where a company (say AB Company) which has branches offices in 4 cities (say Pune, Goa, Diu and Agra) have different sales people (say two sales people per city located in the respective cities). Quotations can be placed from any branch ofice and the delivery of teh goods should happen to the branch office that has placed the quotation.
When i create contacts, what is the best way to create? Should i make 4 different contacts for the same company along with cities (like AB Company - Pune, AB Company Goa, AB Company Diu and AB Company Agra) and then attach the respective sales people?
Or is there a smater and more logical way of doing it?
Like have only one company created as a contact AB Company and then have 4 branch offices defined and then respective contact person? Because the delivery/billing address of the invoice should be mapped to the correct branch office.

Instead of handling this at the Contact card level, you must handle this at the System Environment level. You will set up your database using Odoo’s Parent-Child Company (Branch) structure.
Create a parent company named "Your Company Name"
Under Settings -> Companies -> Branches, Add 4 Branches (your branches)
