Shop floor operator pricing

Question

Hi, i've watch an Odoo Experience youtube video where the speaker says that Shop Floor Operators are exempt from pricing, and that you need just one paid user per shop floor workstation.  Can any one confirm this as i cannot see this in the Odoo documentation.

I may have answered my own question via the following web page:
New employees — Odoo saas-17.1 documentation [1]
Employees can be Odoo paid users but do not have to be.  This maybe relevant if using Kiosk features, eg Attendance, POS, Shop Floor.

Unfortunately, in v18, this is not mentioned on the shop floor time tracking (v18.0) [1] that employees can sign in.
