Matteo Boscolo lives in Venice, Italy. After studying Physics at the University of Bologna, he worked for ten years as a Consultant Engineer for an international CAD Company, developing and implementing PLM, CAD and Product Configuration solutions for the Engineering Industry.
In 2010 he founded his own company OmniaSolutions (www.omniasolutions.website), developing and maintaining a new smart OpenSource PLM solution, OdooPLM, based his reliable Partner's product, Odoo. Over the years, Matteo has been invited to share his experience at many important OpenSource Conferences, such as EuroPython, PyCon Italia and PyCon Ukraine,OdooExperience, OdooItalia
This session will provide an overview of the available CAD integration, and the best way to extract data from the CAD application and push it in to odoo.
We will focus our talk to data exchange, showing the available method and strategy to best exchange data. Particular focus will be made on the OdooPLM module in order to show with a live demo how this exchange is possible.
